Lily’s Garden

I feel the fresh air turn into brightly warm sun when I am going out to garden with my family. I use all of the tools for the soil and dirt. I plant lots of good and healthy foods in my garden. When I do, I feel the soft thud of seeds hitting the dirt and the ground. It feels like I just woke up from being born. It’s like I never even saw this world. I start to rake the weeds out of my garden. I go into the house to do other stuff. Weeks pass and months pass. Soon the plants start shooting out and then they are done growing. When it’s time to pick there are lots of veggies and fruits to eat. We pick lots of yummy stuff like tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers to eat. It feels like it is my first time ever seeing this feeling. When I am finished, I go into the house for a long, long time. When I’m in there my favorite chore is making pickles with my dad. My mom makes salads for us to eat and smoothies with the fruit she buys at the store. We wait for a long time until the black earth begins to light and the birds start singing songs and I feel the worms already wriggling in the dirt. I really like this season so I never do forget it because I love this time. When I am done gardening I go into the house for a long, long time again and soon the best day came when I got to grow even more veggies in our garden. I really love that feeling, and with corn, potatoes, and beets we make borsch and potato pie and corn on the cob to eat at barbecues. When I feel the taste of hot pepper, the juicy tomato, and the rough outside of the beet skin on my fingers I feel like my life is going to change, and it will be way better when I get to garden all summer. It was the best life in all my lives.

The Story of the Present Monster 2: Sherbert's Dream

 Once upon a time, there was a dog named Sherbert. She was sleeping in her bed dreaming about a present monster. The present monster was destroying a shop. It was full of really really cool artwork which was also models of pretty stuff. It was so cool that the monster wanted to destroy stuff because he didn't like cool stuff. So the monster did. Then he went another shop. It was a jewelry shop. When they were making jewelry the present monster destroyed every piece. Then the present monster went to a hockey game and there was jewelry there, full of really pretty necklace stuff and the best gems, gold, and hockey pucks. It was the big thing ever so the monster also destroyed it. When it was finished being destroyed the present monster looked for some new stuff to destroy. When he opened a door to a room he found hockey players and they were playing hockey, so he destroyed the ice and he destroyed their hockey gear, so the monster was very happy. 

When Sherbert was dreaming Sherbert was very scared. She thought that it was real. 

Back in the dream the present monster wanted to destroy artwork and things so he did. He destroyed paper artwork. He destroyed a school. He destroyed a house. It was just too much for the monster to destroy so he destroyed a wedding. He destroyed a restaurant. And he also destroyed the most goodest birthday party ever. When he was done destroying he came upon a stinky mountain of socks. Sock Mountain it was called. The mountain was full of socks and they were very stinky. It was also very sticky, so the monster trudged to it and he destroyed it, but when he stepped on one of the socks he pulled his foot up and it stuck to one of the socks and then it became really hard for the present monster to get out. 

Then Sherbert woke up. It was the morning and she felt very very scared. So she went to her parents' room and they told her it was not a real dream, so they ate breakfast, put on their coats and shoes, and they headed to school. And they lived happily ever after. The end.

Present Monster Story 1: The Present Monster that Destroyed Everything

 Once upon a time, there was a town and they were very happy until one day a present monster came to eat them and destroy them and their town. But then a superhero family came to fight the Present Monster. The townspeople didn't know what their names were so they just chanted that they would get the present monster. There were four people. The older superhero was the big sister, and the oldest was the mom and the dad, and the littler sister was named Sticky because they didn't know what to call her, so they just called her sticky, because she was very sticky. After a long time of fighting the Present Monster they soon were tired but the Present Monster was not. The little one Sticky wasn't either so the littlest superhero found a big blob of mud and threw it at the present monster. And the Present Monster was so gross he was very mad that he started to be madder and madder until he hit a hole in the town. It was very, very big that it also hit a big building that was super big so the mayor came out and said you have to stop this or we will have to put you in a very gross place. So the Present Monster stopped and he became very very nice. So the town and the Present Monster became friends and every Monday the Present Monster would visit the town. They would laugh and play and soon would become even better friends. They lived happily ever after. The end. 

The Water Princess

 Once upon a time, there was a Water Queen and she had one daughter. 

She called her Sophia but for her real name everyone called her was Water Princess. But the princess had lots of friends. One was the snow owl, one was the hare, one was the walrus, and her best best friend the penguin. They all spent time together playing on the playground. One day the Water Princess woke up and found herself in a water castle. She thought for a moment: "who has made this water castle with me in it?" Then she knew just who to ask, her mother, the Water Queen. When she asked her mother her mother said: "I've done it, so we could sleep in a shelter." The Water Princess was really happy but she said "how will I get out of here without breaking it and breaking my body? I need to go to the park and play with my friends." The Water Queen said "I know how. I made you invisible pills so when you take one of those pills you turn invisible so you can walk through the water castle." "Where are the pills?" said the Water Princess. "They are right in your room," said the Water Queen. So the Water Princess went to her room and then she found the invisible pills and she took one and turned invisible. She could still see. When she walked to her castle her mother couldn't find her. "Maybe she is in her room" the Water Queen said. So she she looked in her room. But the Water Queen could not find her daughter so she looked everywhere. Meanwhile the daughter went to the park. The friends said "Where is the Water Princess? She might have gotten eat by her stepmother, fallen into a waterfall, or she is invisible." 

Then the Water Princess got there and then she drank some water and then she turned un-invisible. Then the friends came and asked her, "where were you? Were you invisible?" And the Water Princess said, "Yes, I was invisible."  The friends all played on the playground. Then it was dark. The Water Princess went home but the friends followed her, "Water Princess, do you want to play again?" And the Water Princess said, "sure, we can play again." And she went to eat supper with her mother. Then she went to take a bath, get dressed, read a book, and went to bed. Then they lived happily ever after. The end. 

Super Caterpillar and the Leaf Villain

 

Once upon a time, there was a super caterpillar. In the morning he was just a normal caterpillar but at night he was a super caterpillar. One day when Super Caterpillar was at school he heard his alarm on his watch go off. He looked at his watch. The mayor called: "Super Caterpillar, we need your help!" Then Super Caterpillar jumped into his secret lair.

When he looked at his super computer it told him what the bad guy was. Super Caterpillar gasped and cried, "It is Leaf Villain!" Super Caterpillar jumped into action! Leaf Villain was ginormous when he got to the city. 

He was crushing everything. Super Caterpillar ran to the rescue. He said, "Leaf Villain, I will be trapping you in this rope! I am here to save everyone and not hurt them!" But Leaf Villain said, "no no I will destroy the world so the whole entire world will be MIIIINNNE!" But Super Caterpillar said, "I will not leave the whole entire city alone!" But that Leaf Villain just said, "Noooo I will be taking all this treasure so it can be MIIIINEEEE and the whole wide world will bow to me! Ha ha ha!" 

So he just walked away, crushing everything and looking for treasure. But Super Caterpillar would never ever let the city be destroyed. "Commme back hereeeee!" said Super Caterpillar. So he chased after Leaf Villain. After he got there he tied up Leaf Villain but Leaf Villain's arms were too strong so he broke through the ropes. 

When Super Caterpillar was all ready to go and chase him he used he super fast speed and went to the bakery. He made the stickiest, stickiest dough in the whole entire world and after that he stringed it up and then he chased after Leaf Villain and he stringed it up into his body and Leaf Villain was stuck. "I want to come out!" said Leaf Villain. "No!" said Super Caterpillar. "You will not be destroying the city anymore!" Then Super Caterpillar threw Leaf Villain into outer space and then the city was never destroyed one more bit and they lived happily ever after. The end. 

The Vacation to Hawaii

Once upon a time, there was a family and they were going to Hawaii. Their house was on Belmont Street so it was very far away. So they had to give their kids a lot of toys when they were driving in the car. The brother saw a great big gas station and he said "Can we go into the dinosaur gas station?" and the mother said "No we are going to Hawaii. That will take us forever to get to Hawaii if we go into the dinosaur gas station." "Ouhhhuhhhhh," said the children. "Will you just let us get one dinosaur lollipop?" so the mom sighed and said "yes" and the children said "yay!" so they ran into the dinosaur gas station and they bought one dinosaur lollipop for each and they were back on the road again. And then the children were already fast asleep but then they stopped to look at a palm tree. 

Then the mom woke the children up because they were at Hawaii so the mom said "get up! get up, children! We are at Hawaii!" The children ran out of the car and dashed through the sand. They went straight to the bathroom to change. The mom got dressed and saw one of her favorite dresses. 

The dad got his favorite shirt and then the dad got the dog's favorite bandana. After they changed they ran through the sand and jumped into the water. They swam and swam for a long time until their feet and fingers got all wrinkled up. Then they hopped back in to the car, drove home, ate sandwiches, took a bath, read a book, and went to bed. They lived happily ever after. The end.  

The Strange Christmas

Once upon a time, there was a family and they went to the Christmas tree farm and they found a Christmas tree that looked kind of cool because the Christmas tree looked like a dress and the trunk looked like a loaf of bread. When they went to the ornament store they bought some ornaments and some garland and some lights and a star. When they got home they looked at their ornaments and they looked kind of strange because their ornaments looked like blueberries, their garland looked like licorice, and their star looked like a pickle, and their lights were kind of strange too because the cord was made out of yarn and the lights on the cord looked like oranges. So they just didn't mind and they decorated their tree and soon the news was going crazy. Everyone said they had a strange Christmas. One said their star looked like a piece of carrot. Another one said their ornaments looked like cookies. Their garland looked like frosting and soon the news was going even crazier. But one day the family wished for a normal Christmas. Santa sent the wish down to the world and he said, "Make this tree a normal tree." So instead of the pink dress being a tree a normal tree came up. The blueberries turned into normal ornaments and the garland turned into normal yellow garland. The lights turned to normal pretty lights and then they had a merry Christmas after all. The end.
